Christmas Sessions - Noah

It just wouldn't be right to have an entire series of Christmas posts without Noah. We took a few pictures at the studio before our regular Tuesday night dinner this week. He's just the cutest!

He makes his "mean face" now. We had him doing it all through dinner. I think it's hilarious!

Working with one dog can be challenging. With two, you're lucky to get a good picture. Angel and Rachel were pretty cooperative and posed pretty well for me. They came in with their human siblings, Timothy and Stacie.

I had the opportunity to meet Rayna and Reagan and their mom, Rachel, on Saturday morning. They were great models and I think we got some cute pictures of them. How can you go wrong with cute little girls in matching Christmas dresses?

I almost got a smile out of Reagan!

Christmas Sessions - Adalyn

This is my niece, Adalyn. She had a great session today and actually smiled for the pictures! It was a great success! She loved the rocking chair!

Silkwood Family

The Silkwood family was all together for Thanksgiving so we took some pictures! We met at the Capitol complex, but the building wasn't open and it was cold outside! We took a quick photo there and then headed over to the Clay Center and took a few more. The boys were really cooperative and we had them done in no time!

It's official!!!

Sutton Photography officially has a studio!

The studio is located at 717 Lee Street in the historic Oddfellows Building. I'll be upstairs in room 410 with a beautiful view of Davis Park. The studio will be open by appointment only.

Call today to schedule a winter appointment. I'm excited to see the possibilities!

Makenzy, Jake, and Reagan

On Thursday, I met Makenzy (she's the human featured in this entry) and her mom, Michon, at Daniel Boone park to take some photos of Makenzy and their dogs. Jake and Reagan weren't quite as cooperative, but they were photogenic! I think we got some great photos from the day!

Brittany - Senior 2009

Meet Brittany. She's a senior at Calvary Christian Academy and a volleyball player. We met yesterday for her senior session and got it all done before it got dark or rainy! We finished up the day setting a volleyball on fire - we got some huge flames! Enjoy your pictures, Brittany!

Noah's first autumn!

Noah (and Laura, of course!) came over today for some fall pictures. We "borrowed" my neighbor's tree and took some fun leafy pictures. Noah seemed to have a good time!

Megan and Ricky - the Charleston session

Megan and Ricky and I met yesterday evening at University of Charleston for a few pictures in Megan's hometown. We had some great light and a warm evening for November.
